    Diversity at Haiilo is not only shown in our obvious differences, but in the way we allow each other to be our full authentic self every day. To me that means not having to hide when I am not feeling well mentally, being able to share an opinion that might not align with others and being valued for that. This allows me to give my best every day and not worry about fitting in.

As a company, as well as individuals, we want to become better every day. This is why we constantly challenge ourselves and review our recruitment process. We set up unconscious bias training for the whole company and are doing interview & bias training for everybody taking an active role in the hiring process.

In our internal Diversity & Inclusion @ Haiilo community, we continuously educate our people around different DEI topics. We believe that education is key and leads to respectful interaction with each other as well as a better understanding of cultures, identities and working preferences.

Besides weekly automated pulse surveys, we also run a DEI survey once a year to better understand what matters most to our employees and where we can and should improve. This allows us to see where we need to improve and where we need to set priorities. At the same time, we get a DEI score that we can compare every year to measure our success in terms of internal perception.
