QA Engineer

We’re looking for individuals based in Germany, Finland, or the UK, as we have entities there. Unfortunately, we can’t support relocation at the moment.

As a QA Engineer for our web app team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our application and leveraging your expertise to continuously enhance our product. This role is a remote role in Germany, Finland or the UK. But we’re also open to hybrid work – so if you’re an office fan, you can join our offices in Hamburg, Helsinki or London.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You should have at least 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on E2E automation testing, while not being shy about doing manual functional and exploratory testing
  • You have a solid understanding of various software QA methodologies and a demonstrated ability to drive quality
  • You are proficient in the Playwright automation framework and are familiar with related frameworks like Cypress or Selenium
  • You have knowledge of at least one Software IDE (e.g., VS Code, IntelliJ IDEA), proficiency in bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, QASE, Asana) and in at least one programming language (knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus)
  • You are able to prioritize tasks and organize effectively while working independently as well as part of a collaborative international team in an agile environment
  • You impress with your enthusiasm for continuous improvement and innovation, with strong English communication skills for seamless collaboration

Your responsibilities: 

  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities using various testing tools
  • Perform functional testing of new features and releases, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they become bugs
  • Ensure efficient QA processes within customer-aligned teams, verifying that new features meet expectations and testing releases for regression bugs
  • Provide timely feedback and collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to establish robust end-to-end automation tests 
  • Contribute to the implementation, review, and prioritization of diverse test scenarios, enhancing test automation coverage
  • Take ownership of debugging, maintaining, and enhancing our test automation framework, processes and tools for optimal performance and continuous improvement
