Hamburg, June 7th 2024 – Haiilo, a global leader in communications, intranet and advocacy software, announces a change in its executive team. Haiilo’s Board of Directors has appointed Andrew Avanessian as CEO. This follows the departure of Roope Heinilä.
Andrew Avanessian’s joining Haiilo’s executive team marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the business. With over a decade of experience growing award-winning cultures and high-growth SaaS businesses including digital employee experience (DEX) software, Andrew will spearhead the company’s growth in North America and EMEA.
Andrew brings a wealth of experience scaling SaaS technology companies through an unparalleled focus on delivering customer value through world-leading solutions. His distinctive blend of leadership expertise equips him to drive innovation and growth for Haiilo. Outside of work, Andrew is a Forbes Tech Council member, a father of three children, and holds an Honors degree in Computer Science.

Andrew was welcomed by the whole company last week at the annual company event that took place between the 4th and 7th of June, where the new CEO’s drive, wit, and transparency inspired the team.
Roope Heinilä, former Haiilo CEO, cited fulfilling his mission and the desire to focus on his family as the main reasons for stepping back from his role. He does, however, look forward to serving as a member of the Haiilo board.
Having brought the business to a position of strength where it is profitable and growing rapidly, I feel my mission is complete and it’s the right time for someone new to take over. From a personal perspective, it’s time for me to take a step back by giving more time to my young family – my wife & 1-year-old son for a while.
